When Did Crazy Become Popular?

It is the eve of the Presidential Election in America. An election that will change the game as we know it. It's almost like a winner take all event...and I am so nervous. Not nervous in that, I think God has fallen of His throne or that He will no longer be in control of the world... No. Nervous for our Country and the state of the people. As I have observed the media coverage of this election and the insane, one sided reporting that has taken place, it has made me aware of the possible state of our people and that has me terrified. Seeing the disrespect of our officers and hearing reports of their pre meditated murders,  hearing about the sexual assaults on our women from Muslim refugees, watching in complete jaw dropping awe as our own professional, highly paid, "role model" athletes kneel in front of the Soldiers holding the flag in protest as our National Anthem is played has me completely shocked. The fight against public displays of the Nativity at Christmas, the coaches being fired because they quietly pray at their football games, the use of the word "holiday" instead of Christmas, the signs being help up that read "Black Lives Matter" by women who support abortion..These things are crazy. Straight up crazy. And when one steps back and takes a good, hard look at these issues, it can't be argued. Clearly, our police force must be supported. We can't operate in a peaceful society without people who keep peace. Obviously, EVERYONE in our country that enjoy freedoms of any kind need to stand up in complete respect every single time our National Anthem is played. Everyone knows that men and women are giving of their very lives to protect us and that should be honored. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that Christmas is Jesus' birth. Be mad about it, say "holiday" instead of Christmas, it still doesn't change what the celebration is actually for. Quiet clearly, every life needs to matter. Abortion was made legal when we couldn't see into a woman's belly. That is no longer the case. It absolutely cannot be argued that a baby not born yet is not a baby. Isn't it funny how when a baby is wanted, it's a baby from the first positive pregnancy test but if its not wanted, it's not a baby until it's born? And one more question...If time of death is noted when the heart stops beating, how come time of life isn't noted when a heart beat first begins?
Exactly. See, when anyone stops and takes a look at the issues pressing our country, it's clear that there is a truth. There is a right and wrong. What has me so concerned today is that this right and wrong I speak of, this truth that I am claiming there is, has been lost in what is popular.
I have news: Popular changes. ALL THE TIME. Big bangs and crimped hair was popular when I was growing up... that is not the case any more (and there was much rejoicing). Popular changes. People KNOW that we need to respect our Police officers. People KNOW that is a life inside their body. People KNOW that Christmas is the actual name of the holiday. People KNOW that they ought to stand for our National Anthem. So why do people act differently than what they know? Because we are living in a country where people want to be popular more than they want to stand up for truth. News stations want higher ratings more than they want to report the truth. Women who support the right to choose want an out for their mistake more than they want to take responsibility for creating a life. People who sit for the National Anthem want to live selfishly more than they want to show gratitude to the Soldiers who have lost their life and those who currently serve for their freedom. These things are crazy, scary crazy.

So here we are. Living in a country where Crazy is Popular. And my simple question to whomever might be reading this is, "Do you want to be popular or do you want to stand for what is true?" We all know, down deep in our hearts, what is right. Some choose to suppress it but we know. One day, the "crazy" that is popular now, will change and something else will be popular. Will you have done your job in maintaining truth or will you be sacrificing truth to be popular...now THAT is crazy... don't you think?
